When I set up my company back in 2004 in my garage, Trustpilot didn’t even exist, so there was no chance to have these excellent LEWIS Access Reviews.
And believe it or not, Google was only six years old!! By the way, Sergey Brin and Larry Page also founded Google in a garage.
But three years later, in 2007, we had more welders than ever and even some administration staff.
Trustpilot was founded in the same year.

Back in 2021, we made a pivotal decision to take control of how our products reach our customers by establishing our very own fleet of HGV vehicles.
This step was driven by one key priority: ensuring the best possible service for our customers.
But Let’s Time Travel Back To 2005…
Back in 2005, however, two very significant events occurred. One was the birth of my son, Lewis, and the other was the introduction of the UK’s Working At Height Regulations.
Since then, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has continuously emphasised the importance of adhering to safety protocols, especially in high-risk industries.
Their statistics indicate that while overall workplace injuries have seen a downward trend over the decades, the rate of fatal injuries, particularly from falls, has plateaued in recent years.
LEWIS Access gained a variety of important safety accreditations since then, and we believe that our British-made access equipment is up there as the strongest and safest on the market.

If you check out our About Page, you can see that our journey wasn’t always smooth. Back in 2008, the recession hit us really hard. As a business owner or worker, you will know that it is the ups and downs that give you the perspective to appreciate the small wins as they happen.
